The NSDF judge and critic Robert Hewison described Leviathan as ‘a poetic event of visual and aural beauty’ and Cosmic Family as a ‘hilarious expressionist cabaret’ in the Sunday Times of 15 April 2006.

8 April 2006 - The Solvents have won 3 awards at SNDF 06

Klaus Kruse won Director’s Guild Award for directing Leviathan.
Leviathan won Judge’s commendation for Soundscape and The Cosmic Family won the Solvents an award for Versatility at the National Student Drama Festival 06, in Scarbourough.

7 April - Leviathan at NSDF Festival

It took 48 hours and 30 NSDF06 technicians to make possible for Leviathan to exist in a new space!
A wonderful technical team of 30 people re-created the characteristics of the Foxhole Theatre, for which the theatre in the round piece Leviathan was originally built. The work took 48 Hours rather than 15 planned but the space was ready in time for the first scheduled show.
