The Inside Out project explores how placing performance in domestic and public spaces can bring new perspectives on the 'everyday' and our sense of reality. Themed around key situations and activities experienced in everyday life, the Inside Out project subverts the normal course of events by introducing performative elements in them.

A standard flat, the hall of a theatre, a bus, a club or a shop become the stage where our innermost fantasies, daydreams, or surreal thoughts of how else could humans behave are played out. Familiar situations are brought to extremes to create a different sense of reality. Audience members find themselves in the midst of this subverted reality and are invited to experience what it is like to play with being the actors of their own life. NEXT SHOW: INSIDE OUT HOUSE PARTY - a performance party where you're invited to stay the night deep into the fantasy world of the house. 29 Sep 9 pm- 9 am @ Dartington

 

Inside Out TASK ME interventions are Text Messge-Flash Mobs. They are performed by participants who receive tasks by SMS whilst in public spaces.		Inside Out Guesthouse welcomes guests inside a home transformed in a human-zoo ­ and to turn from the ones who watch to the ones who are being watched.		Inside Out Moving Parties invite party goers to play with how they move and interact whilst clubbing - with a little help of the Placebo drugs 'movement boosters'

Somewhere between a 'happening' and a surreal adventure, the Inside Out project proposes to question the nuances between real life and performance through the blurring of their assumed boundaries
